The Day Tripper is our reduced rate for whole-day bookings and automatically applies to eligible bookings. The rate includes 500 kms for Modo Plus Members and 250 kilometres for Monthly and Business Members for every 24 hours of booked time.

Additional kms are charged at 35¢/km

Additional hours will be billed at the regular rates.

If the regular rate on your booking happens to be less than the day tripper rate, you’ll always get the lower price!

To manage our pricing as equitably as possible during periods of significant price volatility at the pump, Modo has a fuel surcharge mechanism. This approach ensures fair cost-sharing whenever average gas prices exceed the trigger rate of $2.10 per litre.

When triggered, the surcharge will apply to all memberships and will be $0.01 per km for every $0.10 per litre above the trigger rate. Based on information from Natural Resources Canada, we'll set it every two weeks for the following two weeks.
